Video iPod

by Jorge on Oct 17, 08:54 AM

From April Fool’s Joke to real life in 6 months. That’s what I call technology!

I made a post about a fake wireless + video iPod for April Fool’s Day this year, and now, in October, there’s an iPod that plays videos. No, it’s not wireless, but hell, give ‘em another couple of months!

To me, though, a video iPod isn’t a surprise; I knew they’d do it. The big surprise to me is that you can purchase episodes of TV shows (right now just a couple of Disney / ABC shows, but there will be more) for $1.99 a piece.

Oh, and the new iPod records in 44.1khz stereo, as opposed to 8khz telephone quality like its counterparts. Finally.
